Before You Begin
Locate Default Codes: Find the default programming and access codes on your Quick Start Card or on the label inside the lock assembly. You will need to remove the battery cover to view the label.
When Should I Perform a Factory Default Reset (FDR)?
Consider performing a Factory Default Reset in the following situations:
- Changing Doors: If you want to move your lock to a different door.
- Forgotten Programming Code: If you have forgotten your new programming code.
- Smart Home System Changes: If you have connected your lock to a smart home system but wish to unpair it, erase all codes, and restore default settings.

- Remove Battery Cover: Carefully remove the battery cover to access the reset button.
- Press and Hold Reset Button: Press and hold the black spiral reset button for 7 seconds. During this time, the LED will blink red once per second, and the lock will beep once per second.
- Release the Button: After holding for 7 seconds, release the button.
- Reset Completion: The lock will reset and power on.
You will see the LED blink in a sequence of white, red, amber, and blue, indicating the reset is complete.
