How to Add User Codes to Schlage Keypad and Touch Locks

Note: The new user code must be different from the first four digits of the programming code.

1. Enter the programming code and wait for the 3 orange lights and 3 beeps.
   • The programming code is the 6-digit code located on the back of the lock or the installation booklet that came with your lock.
2. Press the Schlage button. The keypad should light up at this point.
3. Press 1 and wait for 3 orange lights + 3 beeps.
4. Enter the new user code (4 digits). Wait for 3 orange lights + 3 beeps.
5. Enter the same new user code. When you see 1 green light + 1 long beep, you have successfully added the new code.
