Vacation Mode is a valuable feature on Schlage Keypad and Touch Locks (BE365, BE375, FE575, FE595, and FE695) designed to enhance security by temporarily disabling all user codes. This mode is perfect for preventing unauthorized entry when your home is unoccupied for an extended period. While in Vacation Mode, only the six-digit programming code can unlock the door. Enable Vacation Mode
Follow these steps to activate Vacation Mode:

Enter the Programming Code
Start by entering the six-digit programming code on your keypad. This code allows you to access the lock's programming features. After entering the code, wait for the keypad to signal with three orange lights and three beeps, indicating readiness for the next step. -
Press the Schlage Button
Press the Schlage button on the keypad. This action will illuminate the keypad, confirming that you are in programming mode. -
Press the Number '4'
Press the number '4' on the keypad. This tells the lock to enable Vacation Mode. Upon successful activation, the lock will signal with one green light and a long beep.
Testing Vacation Mode
To verify that Vacation Mode is enabled, try entering any user code.
If the lock does not unlock, Vacation Mode is active.
Disable Vacation Mode
To deactivate Vacation Mode, follow these simple steps:
Enter the Programming Code
Simply enter the six-digit programming code on your keypad. This action will disable Vacation Mode. Upon successful deactivation, the lock will signal with one green light and a long beep.
Testing Vacation Mode Deactivation
To confirm that Vacation Mode has been disabled, enter a user code.
