How to Manually Change the User Code Length on Your Schlage Connect Lock

Follow these steps to change the user code length on your Schlage Connect lock:

Note: Changing the user code length will delete all existing user codes, so you will need to reprogram any codes you wish to use after making this change.

• Press the Schlage Button:
  Start by pressing the Schlage button on the lock.
• Enter the Programming Code:
  Input your 6-digit programming code using the keypad.
• Press the Number 8:
  After entering the programming code, press the number 8 on the keypad.
• Enter Your Desired User Code Length:
  Enter the desired user code length, which can be between 4 to 8 digits.
• Confirm the Desired Length:
  Re-enter the desired user code length to confirm.
• Check for Success:
  The lock will indicate success with 2 blinks and 2 beeps.
