How to Enable and Disable Auto-Lock on the Schlage Connect Lock

The Schlage Connect lock offers an auto-lock feature designed to enhance the security of your home. When auto-lock is enabled, the lock automatically extends the bolt within 30 seconds of being unlocked, ensuring your door is securely locked after each use. To Enable or Disable Auto-Lock:

• Press the Schlage Button:
  Start by pressing the Schlage button on your lock.
• Enter Programming Code:
  Input your 6-digit programming code using the keypad.
• Press Number 9:
  Press the number 9 on the keypad.
• Check for Success:
  To enable the feature: Look for 1 blink and listen for 1 beep.
  To disable the feature: Look for 2 blinks and listen for 2 beeps.

To Temporarily Disable Auto-Lock:

• Press the Schlage Button:
  Start by pressing the Schlage button on your lock.
• Enter User Code:
  Enter a new user code that is 4 to 8 digits long.
• Manually Lock and Unlock:
  Within 5 seconds, manually lock and unlock the deadbolt using the thumbturn.
• Check for Success:
  Success is indicated by 1 blink and 1 beep.

To Restore Auto-Lock:

• Press the Schlage Button:
  Begin by pressing the Schlage button on your lock.
• Relock the Deadbolt:
  Use the thumbturn to manually relock the deadbolt.
• Check for Success:
  Success is indicated by 2 blinks and 2 beeps.
