Schlage Connect: Enable Alarm

The Schlage Connect Models BE469 and BE469ZP come with an integrated alarm system, providing enhanced security for your home. These models are designed to alert you to potential security breaches, offering peace of mind through their advanced alarm features. With the ability to customize alarm settings, you can tailor the system to suit your specific security needs, ensuring that your home is protected with state-of-the-art technology.

The alarm on your Schlage Connect lock is turned off by default, so you will need to activate it after installation.

Turning the Alarm Function On/Off:

To Turn On: Press and hold the inside Schlage button and release it after the first flash (about 5 seconds).
To Turn Off: Press and hold the button and release it after the second flash (about 6 seconds).

Checking if the Alarm is On:

To verify if your alarm is activated, simply press and release the inside Schlage button once. If the alarm is on, it will beep and light up. If it does not, you may need to turn the alarm on again and check the batteries.

Silencing the Alarm Early:

If you need to silence an active alarm, press and hold the inside Schlage button until the alarm sound stops.
