How to Enable or Disable the Auto-Lock Feature on Schlage Encode Locks

The Schlage Encode locks offer an auto-lock feature that automatically locks the door after a specified delay, enhancing security and convenience.

Follow the steps below to enable, disable, or adjust the auto-lock delay timer:

1. Launch the Schlage Home app.
2. Navigate to the lock you want to manage and select it from the app’s dashboard.
3. Tap the three dots next to the lock name to open the settings menu.
4. Scroll through the settings menu and find the "Auto-Lock Delay" option.
   
   • If auto-lock is enabled, the selected time delay will be displayed (e.g., 30 seconds, 1 minute, etc.).
   • If auto-lock is turned off, it will display "Off."
5. Enable or Disable Auto-Lock
   
   • To activate auto-lock, select a time delay from the available options.
   • To disable auto-lock, set the timer to "Off."
6. Press the back arrow on the top left corner to exit the menu and save your changes.
