Before You Begin:
Warning: Factory default reset will remove all codes that have been programmed to your lock. These codes cannot be retrieved so be sure you have your default codes available to re-program the lock. |

When Should I Perform a Factory Default Reset (FDR):
- I want to move my lock to a different door.
- I forgot my new programming code.
- I connected my Encode to a smart home system but want to unpair, erase all of my codes, and restore all of my default settings.
How to Factory Default Reset Models JFE109 and JBE109:
- Remove the battery cover
- Press and hold the enrollment button.
The LED will light solid amber. - After 8 seconds of holding the button, the amber light will turn off.
- Release the button.
A successful FDR is indicated by 3 long green blinks and 3 long beeps.
How to Factory Default Reset Models JFE105 and JBE105:
- Remove the battery cover.
- Remove one battery.
- Press the
button above the keypad.
- Relace the battery, and wait for the lock to power up:
Indicated by 1 long green blink and 1 long beep. - Within 10 seconds: Press and hold
for 3 seconds.
A successful FDR is indicated by 3 long green blinks and 3 long beeps. - Enter one of the default access code followed by the lock button to set u the lock.
How to Factory Default Reset the JDE265:
- Remove the battery cover.
- Remove one battery.
- Press and hold the SET button while inserting the battery. Hold the set button until the long beep is over.
