How to Enroll a Connect lock onto a Z-Wave Network

Looking to pair your Schlage Connect lock (BE468, BE469, or BE469ZP) with a third-party hub? Follow the steps below to enable inclusion mode and successfully enroll your lock.

Important: 

1. Refer to your home automation system's documentation or website for more information, then continue.
2. A Security-Enabled Z-Wave controller is required to utilize all remote capabilities of your Schlage Connect lock.
3. For the BE469ZP a security-Enabled Z-Wave Plus controller is required to utilize all remote capabilities.

1. Remove the battery cover.
2. Review the instructions or app that came with your Z-Wave Plus controller to understand how to "Add Device".
3. Once your Z-Wave Controller is in "Add" or "Inclusion" mode, press the red button located underneath the battery cover.
   A yellow light will flash, then turn green when your lock has been successfully added.
   A red light indicates there was a problem adding your lock. 

How to Enroll your BE468 and BE469:

1. Review the instructions or app that came with your system controller to understand how to "Add Device".
   Once your Z-Wave Controller is in "Add" or "Inclusion" mode,
2. Press the Schlage Logo on the keypad.
3. Enter the 6-digit programming code.
4. Press 0.                                                                                             
   A green check indicates the lock was successfully enrolled.
   A red x indicates the lock was not enrolled.
