How to Exclude a Schlage Connect Lock from Ring

If your Schlage Connect lock is paired with the Ring Alarm Base Station and you need to remove it, you must perform an exclusion process. The steps for exclusion may vary depending on the hub manufacturer.

Steps to Exclude Your Lock from Ring:

1. Open the Ring App.
2. Tap the three lines in the upper left-hand corner.
3. Select Devices.
4. Navigate to Security and tap the Alarm Base Station.
5. On the next page, tap the Base Station.
6. In the top right-hand corner, tap Device Settings.
7. Go to Tools and tap Advanced Options.
8. Under Protocol Adapters, tap Z-Wave.
9. Tap Remove Z-Wave Device.

10. Put your Schlage Lock in Exclusion Mode:

    • BE469ZP: Press and release the red button on the back of the lock.
    • BE469, BE469NX, BE469IR, BE469WK, BE468: Press the Schlage logo, enter the 6-digit programming code, then press 0.
    • FE599 and BE369 (Discontinued): Enter the 6-digit programming code, press the Schlage button, then press 0.
