What Should I Do If I Lost or Damaged My Programming Sticker? Can Schlage Look Up My Default Codes?

If the programming sticker with your default codes has been lost or damaged, Schlage is unable to recover the default codes for your lock. Unfortunately, without the default codes, you won’t be able to program new user codes or reset the lock.

In this case, you have two options:

1. You can replace the lock entirely to regain full functionality.
2. You can continue using the lock as a mechanical deadbolt with the provided key, bypassing the keypad functionality.

Removing the Programming Sticker from your lock voids the Schlage Warranty.

To avoid this issue in the future, it’s a good idea to store your programming sticker in a safe place, such as with your important documents or in a secure digital file.
