Schlage Sense: Can I use Siri With my Lock?

The Schlage Sense - BE479, Discontinued is compatible with Siri. However, in order to accomplish this the lock must first be paired to Apple HomeKit. An Apple Hub such as a HomePod or Apple TV is also required. 

Once your Schlage Sense is paired with Apple HomeKit, you can use Siri commands to check the status of your lock and issue lock/unlock commands.

Examples:

• "Hey Siri, is my door unlocked?"
• "Hey Siri, is my door locked?"
• "Hey Siri, lock my door."
• "Hey Siri, unlock my door."
   

Tip:

Lock names should not include the word lock at the end of the name for optimal Siri performance.
