Schlage Custom Handleset: Uninstall Trim

To uninstall the trim on your Schlage Custom Series handleset, follow these steps. You will need a flathead screwdriver and the Allen wrench that came with your lock.

FC60 Trim Removal

• Uninstall the knob or lever.
• Locate the slot underneath the privacy pin opening.
• Carefully insert a flat head screwdriver into the slot.
• Pull the flat head towards yourself to pop the trim off the chassis. 

FCT60 Trim Removal

1. Remove the knob or lever.
2. Unscrew the two mounting bolts

3. Remove the trim from the door.
