The alarm is turned off by default. Before changing the alarm mode, ensure that the alarm is turned on. If you have previously turned off the alarm function, make sure to turn it back on before proceeding. To view instructions for turning on the alarm, click here.

The Forced Entry mode is enabled by default.
To change the alarm mode:
- Press and hold the inside Schlage button, then release it after the first flash (about 2 seconds).
- Pressing the inside button will cycle through the lights:
The left light indicates Activity mode.
The middle light indicates Tamper mode.
The right light indicates Forced Entry mode.
The sequence is: Activity 🡒 Tamper 🡒 Forced Entry.
- Stop pressing the button when the light indicates the mode you want.
The lock will beep to confirm it has exited Programming mode.
Once you change the alarm mode, the sensitivity level is set to the default setting of 3.
