If pressing the Schlage button does not allow you to turn the outside thumb-turn to lock the door for your Schlage Keypad or Touch Deadbolt- BE365, BE375 that means the "Lock and Leave" feature has been disabled.
To Enable Lock and Leave for Models BE365, BE375
- Enter the 6 digit programming code.
Wait for 3 orange lights + 3 beeps. - Press Schlage.
Keypad will illuminate. - Press 7.
Success is indicated by 1 green light + 1 long beep.

I don’t have a programming code
Hi Mervin, every Schlage Residential Electronic lock comes with two programming stickers, one on the User Guide, and one on the lock itself.
